THE CHOICE ...
This book is a memoir created with the unique blend of writings in spirituality and story-telling (fiction), joined with excerpts from the spirit communications received by James Padgett between 1914 and 1920.
It is a unique melting together of a manuscript started and left unfinished 5 years ago, and selections from new writings done by the author since 2006.
The CHOICE covers a short but important period in the life of Joseph Babinsky from 2006 to the present.
The book is in two parts. The first part uses an allegory to picture a massive transformation in which the author shifts from one understanding of reality to another. In the second part we are shown a glimpse of the author’s Journey of Faith, where he travels a long lonely road from a life as an ordained Christian minister to a place many years later where the influence of spirit communications changed the course of his life.
The CHOICE is a thought-provoking book, well put together, and entertaining and inspirational – a good read.

What others are saying about this book ...
Geoff Cutler (Australia): This is a great read. It's really quite phenomenal how one person can go from being an evangelical pastor, to the condition of being a mystic, in one life. Although of course that is precisely the path that the late M Scott Peck outlined in his fabulous book "The Path less Traveled." But few manage it. Joseph is surely a fearless seeker after truth!
One of the strengths of this book is I feel Joseph's coverage of doubt. Yes we should indeed be proud that we have had, or currently have, doubts. Doubt is one of the really powerful things that will lead us to real truth. Doubt is a sign that we are alive, and questioning, and progressive.
Preston Surface (Kansas, USA): It is wonderful someone such as Joseph Babinsky would so honestly share his spiritual journey for others to learn. Joseph is very insightful and offers his resources freely to all whom seek such a journey. If you are seeking wisdom and guidance and are willing to venture past the box, this is a must read for you. Without any doubt, I know I will read this book time and time again.
Dean Sims (Texas, USA): I've read most of Joseph's books and this is by far the best! Many questions that many people ask about the Padgett Messages and how it might "look" for someone that is trying to follow the instructions they contain are in this book. People often ask me how to pray in relation to the prayer given to James Padgett - Joseph goes into detail not only with his method and suggestions, but also with an exposition of the prayer. Definitely worth reading.
Sue Rausch (Ohio, USA): I found Joseph's style of writing is so easy to read, it is like you are sitting in the living room, sharing tea, and listening to him telling you, instead of reading words on paper. his style is very easy, and let's you in on his inner thoughts as he is compiling his chapters.
The last 4-5 chapters I could not put down ...I had to read through to the end. I will not give the ending away, but it was giving to me the thought.. and your last chapter proved the point.
Also, the prayer that is included, is something Spirit had given me a long time ago, and all I really could remember was the honor and glory to God part. so again, my Spirit received confirmation as I read different chapters.
I would highly recommend this book, (I read it as an E book) for those on their spiritual path. It brings lots of confirmations to what we share with others as we travel the different paths we choose.
Mary Symes (Australia): A wonderful, personal book, written from the heart and shared with love. Thank you Joseph!
